Burundi Single Origin Coffee
Burundi is one of the poorest coffee growing nations in the world however that doesn't stop their coffee from battling it out with the big dogs.
This coffee comes from a cooperative of micro farms where most of the farmers have less than 50 coffee trees!
If you fancy trying something new and interesting then this is the coffee for you - give it a try, we'd love to hear what you think.
Bright and fruity flavours. Dark roast.
I bought the ground Burundi and didn't need much of this to make a deliciously different cup of coffee. I'm looking forward to my next cup!
So from the smell of the beans i thought this might be dissatisfying and once i had ground them to a mid-coarse grind for a v60 i knew this was not going to be good. The taste is like any pack of ground filter coffee you can buy in the supermarket. There is a real lack of flavours other than bitterness. Avoid at all costs....
Hi Alex, thank you for taking the time to share your review.
We are sorry that you did not enjoy our coffee.
Our coffees have been roasted and selected according to what we enjoy, which for the most part is strong flavours and dark roasts.
While we would like to think that it tastes better than service station coffee, we understand that our coffee is not going to be to everyone's taste.
We will be taking your feedback onboard and updating our product pages to offer more information about the strength and roast of each coffee.
I tried it. I liked it. I've ordered some more...
